5th Annual marin county 4th of july racesWEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH, 2012
It’s the fourth of July, and let’s be real, nobody gets that barbeque going until at least noon. So wake up, join your neighbors and strangers and choose either the four miler or the one mile race depending on your level of fitness, your inability to back down from a challenge or your desire to eat both the hamburger and the hotdog.
Both of these courses meander through Novato’s historic Grant Street and you can pretend that the spectators lining up for the parade are really there for you! The firecracker 4 miler runs through the heart of revitalized downtown Novato and then traverses the back side of the city over hills and dales. This really is the perfect place to begin the festivities as a parade will begin shortly after you cross the finish line. Wear Red, White and Blue, don your American Flag and engage in a little civic mindedness on the nation's birthday. Beneficiaries: Novato SchoolFuel Races Mayor's One Mile
