Age Group Awards
The top three male and female finishers in the following age groups in the ONE MILE race will receive medals: Under 18, 19-29, then 5 year age divisions for runners 30 and over. Awards will go three deep in most age groups. Certain age groups may receive fewer awards based on historical participation.
Note: Only cash awards will be mailed. All age group awards MUST be picked up at the Awards Table in the race finish area. Awards not picked up on race day will be forfeited. Only the four trophies for First Overall in the two races will be presented in the Awards Ceremony.
Results
Complete race results will be posted here within 24 hours after the race, and the individual and team results will also be posted on the PA-USATF web site (www.pausatf.org). Please be aware that errors and misspellings are inevitable in the first draft of race results. Please notify us immediately of any problems and be patient; all issues will be resolved although it may take a few days before the results are final.
Location and Directions
4th Street Plaza in Downtown San Rafael. Hwy 101 in Marin, take the Central San Rafael Exit and go WEST on FOURTH Street to A Street.
Parking
There is lot and street parking throughout the Downtown San Rafael area.
Headphones
For your safety and the safety of others, runners are requested not to wear headphones during the Races. Runners who are PA-USATF members may be disqualified from eligibility for individual and team Grand Prix participation, as well as prize money, if they wear headphones during the race. This rule is enforced by PA-USATF, not the race management.
Registration and Fees
There are two ways to enter: (1) online and (2) in person on the morning of the race, between 6:30 and 7:30 am. A parent or guardian's signature is required for all entrants under 18.
Volunteers Needed!
We need about 30 people to volunteer for the race. If you're not planning to run, please consider volunteering a couple of hours on June 6 or on the days just before or after, to help make it happen. Email marinruns@yahoo.com. Please send your name, mailing address, phone number, and your preference for what job you’d like, if any. All volunteers will receive a shoe bag, and will be welcomed at check-in with coffee and muffins. Teenagers are encouraged to volunteer, too, and can receive community service credit for their schools if they do.
